Touring the Iron Kingdoms – Ord

A special thank-you to Jason Hobbs (ZeeWulf) for sending me a copy of his notes he took during this seminar.  With his and my notes, I reconstructed the seminar.

Our mercenaries, under the influence of a set of Khadoran runes inscribed on them, head down towards Ord.

Touring the Iron Kingdoms – Khador

A special thank-you to Jason Hobbs (ZeeWulf) for sending me a copy of his notes he took during this seminar.  With his and my notes, I reconstructed the seminar.

Touring the Iron Kingdoms – Protectorate of Menoth

A special thank-you to Jason Hobbs (ZeeWulf) for sending me a copy of his notes he took during this seminar.  With his and my notes, I reconstructed the seminar.

This entire seminar focused on following a mercenary band as they travelled around Western Immoren doing a job for hire, and discussing the different regions as they went through them.  The first stop on their trip was the Protectorate of Menoth.  This was because their journey started in Icthyr, where they were being hired by a Scrutator to deliver a package to the Northern Crusades.

Lock & Load Seminars

Friday having been my day of tournaments, I took Saturday to be my day of classes.  The seminars were all too awesome (and had too many possible notes) to fit into one post, so I am going to go ahead and break them up like I did last year.  Starting on Monday, I will be looking at the seminars in the following order.  I have no idea how many days this will take, but I hope you will all enjoy the ride.

  • Touring the Iron Kingdoms
  • True Metallic Technique
  • IKRPG: Kings, Nations and Gods
  • Genesis of the Convergence
  • State of the Factions

I am going to try and keep to a 3-day a week schedule while I am going through these different seminars, again starting on Monday.  I look forward to seeing you all then!

Lock and Load: Seminars “State of the Faction Address” Part 11: Mercs and Minions

Mercs and Minions were addressed together, so I will be posting them together.  As always, this is in a notes-like format.

  • Good time to be a mercenary
    • Lots of money to be made
    • Unless you care about a particular side
  • Llaelese resistance not too happy about the Protectorate anymore
    • Damiano has come to the aid of the resistance
    • What started as a skirmish with the Protectorate, Terminus crashed the party instead
  • Magnus has been busy making a new army with his new Protege, Julius
    • Julius looks similar to a certain deposed emperor
    • He is apparently very good with a sword
    • Rumor has it Magnus may be linking up with Montador?
  • Blindwater Congregation led by Barnabus
    • Not all the Gators agree with him
    • Those that don’t will die or join up
    • There will be a lot of bloodshed coming, but don’t worry – it will all be for Barnabus’ gain
  • Thornfall alliance is still led by Carver
    • I don’t have a lot of notes on this – not sure if there was much said

And that is it – that is all of them.  Again, I really enjoyed the talks, and hope I can see more of Seacat next year.
